Players control Guo Jing as he traverses the world of the Song Dynasty, engaging in turn-based battles against various martial artists and villains. Combat focuses on the 'Rock-Paper-Scissors' style interaction between attack types, where specific techniques counter others. Mastering the timing and choosing the correct stance or martial art form is essential to breaking the opponent's defense and dealing significant damage. Players should focus on managing their internal energy (Qi) to unleash powerful special moves during tense encounters. Outside of combat, exploration involves interacting with NPCs and gathering clues to progress the narrative. Players must pay attention to dialogue cues to navigate the story accurately. In the early stages, prioritize upgrading basic skills and gathering healing items, while mid-game strategy shifts toward learning advanced martial arts techniques from masters encountered throughout the journey. Efficiently switching between defensive and offensive stances is the key to surviving challenging boss encounters against legendary fighters.
